MA’AT is a reminder of divine ties and righteous living ⚖️ If you were to pass tonight, could you stand on the weight of your actions against what you know to be right and rest assured that the scale would balance out?
Do you tare for acts of altruism, or is selflessness so native to you that it is righteous? Does forgiveness lighten your scale, or do you know humility to the point that repentance for wrongdoings is just? Does any of it matter?
I’ve come to accept that my role in this lifetime is to heal others, resurface answers we already knew and remind us that we’re made of eternal power. Art imitates life and the ways in which the concept of righteousness was challenged in my life over the course of my time working on this painting has left me grateful for the wisdom and ever in awe of the universe and Her glory.
May it all balance out in the end. 🧿
